Note: Before you start working with assets, you should have a good understanding of how packages work in Doomsday 2.
- Relative file paths. When an asset refers to a file, the path is relative to the ScriptedInfo file where the path is specified.
- Low-level image filtering.

Implementation status (1.15 ⇒)
The asset system is first being introduced in version 1.15. It is only being used for the GL2 model renderer. In the future, more subsystems will use assets and each will be documented here.
